"Eva B" Featured on Times Square, New York

Pakistan's first veiled rapper Eva B is the latest face to appear on a digital billboard in New York's Times Square as EQUAL Pakistan's October ambassador.

According to Spotify Press, Eva B has almost 400,000 listeners on the biggest music streaming app.

Her famous song Kana Yaari has more than 10 million streams on the audio streaming platform.

Spotify Pakistan shared the news on its Instagram handle with the caption: "@IamEvaaB is magical in its own way, the first Baloch artist to perform in Times Square."

The rapper started her music career in 2014 and now collaborates with famous names in the Pakistani music industry such as Ali Gul Pir and Anas Baloch.

One of her favorite songs, Rozi, was even featured in the Disney+ superhero series Ms. Marvel.

Eva shared her excitement at being inducted as an EQUAL ambassador in Pakistan, saying, “I feel very excited and happy to be a part of the Spotify EQUAL programme. I feel very proud. Initiatives like these are not only important, they are actually necessary. They are the need of the hour.”
